Yamaha Education Suite
If you are a beginner, you will really appreciate the Yamaha Education Suite (Y.E.S) on the ypt-200. The various built-in songs can be easily learnt through a series of lessons provided by Y.E.S and the built-in grading mechanism will grade how you have performed the lessons. The Chord Dictionary is another useful tool which teaches you how to play chords.
Portable Grand
This button resets the Yamaha ypt 200 keyboard to a piano sound whenever you want to play the piano. So if you wish to practice your piano lessons, just press this button and begin practicing.
DJ Section
This section is a favorite with kids! You will find some of the hottest sound effects in your ypt200 keyboard. You can trigger these effects by pushing the Sound Effect button and hold down a key.
PC connectivity
You can connect your ypt 200 keyboard to a PC using the MIDI in/out slot for which you will need to get a midi cable. Once connected, you can use your keyboard as a midi controller and edit your songs in a software sequencer.
