I have a Yamaha YPT 400 Keyboard and I am keen to connect it to my computer.

But it seems some drivers need to be installed on the computer for the connection to work correctly with my Yamaha YPT 400.

I used to have an Accessory CD which had come bundled with the ypt400 keyboard, but I seem to have misplaced it. It had lot of software programs installed in it, including the drivers.

Any idea where could I find a replacement, or is it possible to download the USB drivers from the Internet?

I need this connection to work between the computer and my Yamaha YPT 400 Keyboard.

The USB-MIDI driver software is necessary to connect the Yamaha YPT 400 to your computer via USB.

It won't work without these drivers!

Try out this link on the Yamaha site for downloading the drivers for ypt400:

Hopefully, the connection should work fine after you have downloaded and installed the drivers for ypt400.

If this is the only issue you are facing, then you don't need a replacement Accessory CD.

But an Accessory CD can be bought from the Yamaha Parts department, in case you need it in the future for your Yamaha YPT 400 Keyboard.
