Yamaha YPG 535 88 Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard – How is it Compared to the Yamaha YPG 635?

by John
(Toronto, Canada)

How is the Yamaha YPG 535 88 Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard for a beginner?

I am not exactly a beginner, but will be playing after many years so I am not sure how well I will be able to pick up.

But still I want to buy a good digital keyboard for myself. I thought that the Yamaha YPG 535 for around 500 dollars was a good deal.

Wanted to know from other boarders here if it is really worthwhile, and if possible please comment on how it compares with the next higher model – the Yamaha YPG 635.

I am ready to spend the extra bucks if the Yamaha YPG 635 is a better piano keyboard.

Yamaha YPG 535 88 Key Portable Grand Piano Keyboard

Go in for the Yamaha YPG 635 88 key grand piano keyboard if you really enjoy playing the piano, because its keys feel more like piano keys compared to the Yamaha YPG 535.

If the keyboard feel does not matter that much, you can go with the Yamaha YPG 535 and save a few hundred bucks. In that case, you may even consider the Casio Privia series.
