Yamaha PSRS700 and PSRS900 - Difference Between these Yamaha piano keyboards

by Subodh
(Hyderabad, India)

What is the difference between Yamaha PSR S700 and Yamaha PSR S900?

I am a self-taught musician and I play piano-keyboards well; have never gone to a teacher for lessons. I have good knowledge about music.

Currently I am using a Yamaha PSR 275 keyboard, which is not giving me the required creative satisfaction as I have matured as a keyboard player.

As such which keyboard should I buy? I have shortlisted a couple of keyboards – the Yamaha PSR700 and the Yamaha PSRS900.

Which yamaha piano-keyboard would be more appropriate for me? I am not a professional keyboard player.

Regards
Subodh

Improvements of Yamaha PSR S710 over PSR S700
by: Anonymous

Well after looking at the features of Yamaha PSRS710 over PSRS700 I am finding it more difficult to decide between the PRS-S700 and the PSR-S900

(I think PRS-S700 and PSR-S900 are the models that are still available in India and not the recent PRS-S710 / PSR-S910. Yamahas Indian website shows only the earlier models, so I assume the later versions are still not available in India.)

But there are many features of PSRS900 that are now available on PSRS710? like sing along microphone, 128 polyphony etc., which is adding to my dilemma.
