Yamaha PSR 400 Music keyboard - Please List its Features

Yamaha PSR 400 Music keyboard

Can anybody please list the features of Yamaha PSR 400 music keyboard?

A used Yamaha psr-400 is available for sale and I am planning to lap it up so that I can start playing the keyboards.

I have played on a toy piano many years back so I guess I should be able to pick up fast.

I don't want to invest on a new keyboard as of now, so basically wanted to know if the psr-400 has some advanced features like ability to connect to a computer so that I can play around with some music software also.

Is that possible with the Yamaha PSR 400 music keyboard?

Thanks,
Mike

My daughter wants to learn to play the piano and insists on getting one to practice on. Looking into keyboards and came across this model. Is there any advice or suggestions for me?

The list of styles is usually printed on the music keyboard instrument itself.

Check it out on your Yamaha psr-400 keyboard.

Yamaha PSR 400 keyboard Review
by: Suresh

The YAMAHA PSR 400 Keyboard does have a MIDI slot with which you can connect it to your computer.

You also have slots to connect headphones and sustain pedal.

To be able to connect your Yamaha PSR-400 keyboard to a computer, your computer will need a MIDI-compatible sound card and a 15-pin MIDI/Joystick port. You then make the connection between the Keyboard and the computer using a MIDI cable.

With newer Yamaha PSR models, it is easier to make the connection since you have to connect to the USB port of your computer.

That way the Yamaha PSR400 is fairly advanced, and comes with many features.

Here is a list of the features available on the YAMAHA PSR 400 Keyboard.

  • 61 Key Touch Sensitive Keys

  • 100 Realistic Voices, 103 Accompaniment styles

  • Polyphony od 28 notes (max.)

  • Auto Harmony with Six different settings

  • 8 Voice Memory Spaces, 4 Drum Pad keys

  • Pitch bend range control

  • MIDI, Connectors for Headphones and Foot Pedal

  • So feel free to go ahead and lap up your Yamaha PSR 400 Keyboard.
