Yamaha PSR 3000 review

Yamaha PSR 3000 - The psr3000 is one of the higher models in the PSR series. It is more of an arranger workstation as it gives you lots of features to create your own mix from scratch.

The Yamaha PSR 3000 comes with a synth action keyboard and features many of Yamaha’s outstanding features not found in its lower models. Some of these features include Color screen, Mega Voice technology, 3-part vocal harmony, and video out.

Mega Voice technology and Mega Enhancer software
Using Mega Voice technology, you can play not only the basic samples of any instrument but also the performance techniques like slide effects, harmonics, open and muted string sounds associated with any instrument. The included MEGAEnhancer software allows you to convert MIDI data stored on your PC so that it takes full advantage of the capabilities associated with Mega Voice technology

Microphone input, Vocal Harmony
The PSR-3000 keyboard comes with a microphone input and a professional Vocal Harmony function which provides authentic sounding harmony to your vocals. You get thousands of song files on the Internet that contains lyrics and harmony information. You can load any of these songs and follow the lyrics on the screen, or connect the video out jack to your television so that your friends can sing along with you.

External connectivity
The PSR 3000 has 2 USB ports - USB to Host and USB to DEVICE. The USB to HOST lets you transfer data to and from your computer. It even lets you record and play-back MIDI files. The USB to DEVICE port is used for connecting other USB storage devices like floppy disk drives, pen drives and hard drives.
