The Yamaha PSR 1000 is an excellent arranger workstation keyboard for Beginners and Intermediate players who want to buy a professional sounding keyboard on a budget.

Among the users who were polled about the features of PSR-1000, all have rated the "ease-of-use" of this yamaha psr keyboard as one of the best.

Yamaha PSR 1000

Large LCD Display

One of the first things you would notice when you look at this musical instrument is the large LCD display. On the LCD Display, you can find the chords clearly and all the options are seen in large visible font. It even has a song lyric display that can prove useful when you are trying to write a song or two.

Each button of this wonderful musical instrument is laid out nicely on its control board. The spacing is optimal that you can press the buttons accurately even if you large hands.

Decent Sound Collection

It does not have the largest collection of sounds with only 8 MB of voices available for playing. Despite the limited selection, Yamaha does well with the sounds that it does have.

They have excellent quality sounds for their piano, trumpet and other voices. Their electric guitars are perhaps one of the best in the industry.

Sturdy and Reliable

The keys of the Yamaha PSR 1000 keyboard have semi-weighting that can stand the test of time. Yamaha has been known for their reliability.

The proud owners of the Yamaha PSR-1000 have put their keyboards through a great deal of punishment but all of them will be willing to tell you that theirs still work like a dream even years after.

If reliability and durability was not enough, there are features that can be really fun for the intermediate keyboardist or an advanced one.

Create Your Own Music

The PSR-1000 has a fun 16-track sequencer that you can use when you are composing music. The 16 track sequencer can overlap 16 different instruments for a unique one of a kind song that is a product of your hard work.

Imagine making a song with a full orchestra back up and you can do all of it with just the Yamaha PSR-1000.

For some added fun, it also has a Digital Effects Processor that can help you create professional mixes.

This is still not enough? How about this? The PSR-1000 has hundreds of accompaniments to choose from.

Whether you are writing a song alone in your living room or performing for packed house, this digital keyboard will not let you down.
