Yamaha Motif ES Synth Series Review (ES8, ES7, ES6)
Yamaha Motif ES Features
Motif ES featured the largest wave ROM when it was released in 2001
Boasted of an extensive Sonic library. It has an extraordinary sonic depth and musical response
Offers 128 note polyphony that allows you the freedom to create intricate compositions
All the Motif series features 16 track sequencers that can use MIDI and sample tracks and 512 MB of sample memory can be fitted for new sounds
Motif ES range uses "Megavoice" technology from the Tyros which enables velocity switching to allow greater natural expression over the sounds
Motif ES boasts of other features such as- twice the polyphony with faster envelopes, massive DSP effects, USB mass storage support, 8X sample RAM expansion, vastly improved acoustic piano etc.
It is very expensive and has too many novelty voices but the sound is good. The Motif ES has superb drum sounds. I would recommend it.

Motif ES7 is Brilliant by: Frozy45
Just bought a Motif ES7 and it is brilliant, it is perfect for hip hop or RNB etc. Many famous artists such as Scott Storch, Timberland, Eminem etc use the Motif. It's a lot easier to use and it has a built in sampler which is amazing.
