Yamaha MO8 88-Key Music Production Synthesizer - MO Synth Queries

I recently purchased a Yamaha MO8 88-Key Music Production Synthesizer.

Before that I have been playing the acoustic piano for years.

However, I am having difficulty navigating the system.

Can you recommend any books, or better yet, keyboard teachers in Northern Virginia for my Yamaha MO8 Synthesizer.

Yamaha MO8 Synth Keyboard - Mapping Keys to MIDI Channels

How to map/assign each of the Yamaha MO8 Synth keys to Individual MIDI Channels.

Basically, what I am trying to find out is how I can assign each of the keys to the individual channels.

For instance, C4 to channel 1, D4 to channel 2, E4 to channel 3 and so on!

Is that possible?

Yamaha MO6 Synthesizer - How to transfer music from USB storage device.

I bought this synth piano keyboard last week and have been trying to learn to use its various features. Seems very complex and confusing instrument.

Glanced through the user manual once but could not figure out how to transfer songs stored on my USB drive to the YAMAHA MO6 synth.

Any suggestions/ideas?

I can understand the difficulty using your Yamaha MO8 88-Key Music Production Synthesizer, especially when you have been playing the acoustic piano all this while.

All the programming stuff and things related to the digital domain can be quite challenging if you are new to it. And the Yamaha MO8 is indeed a powerful synthesizer with lot of capabilities.

The obvious answer is to spend more time reading the manuals and trying out things on your Yamaha MO8 88-Key Music Production Synthesizer.
