Using Sibelius 2 music notation software and Yamaha PSR 550 keyboard, using the Yamaha UX16 USB-MIDI cable - Facing Driver problems

I have Sibelius 2 music notation software which is installed on my IMac. I am trying to connect a Yamaha PSR 550 keyboard to the iMac using a Yamaha UX16 USB-MIDI cable.

I have done all the connections (I think I have done it correctly) but then I am having some issues with the Yamaha USB-Midi cable Drivers.

My Sibelius 2 music notation software fails to recognize the Yamaha PSR 550 keyboard.

The operating system my iMac has is MAC OSX 10.4-10.6 Version 1.2.1

How can I get my Sibelius 2 notation software to recognize the newly installed Yamaha USB-MIDI drivers for my iMac?
