I took a look at a Technics digital grand piano that is easily 20-30 years old. This elderly lady said her husband was semi professional and did arranging on it. It holds those old square (hard) floppy discs of the 90's I tried to play it and it seems like a few keys are playing "brighter" or "sharper" than the others. The weighted action still works but it definitely has a more tinny sound overall than today's models. I just wanted something for my girls to play while I save up for a new piano. What do you think is reasonable to pay for this Technics digital grand piano? She has not named her price yet. Also wonder if these pianos truly do not need tuning. It seems after all these years, that there are some mechanical aspects of the keys that need fixing? Thank you so much for your help!!!
