Technics sx pr 270 Digital Piano

I own a couple of Technics sx pr 270 Digital Piano, used it mostly for teaching piano students.

A few days back, floppy drives for both the digital pianos went dead at about the same time. A bit surprising but unsure how it could go off in both?

Any ideas why this would have happened? How do I get it replaced on my Technics sx pr 270 Digital Pianos?

Floppy drive for PR270

As the PR270 drive uses standard 3.5" floppy disks I would say the drive is a standard PC floppy drive. If you can source these from a PC shop or ebay I bet they fit right in. Better try and pull one out to check first.

Having said that it is odd that both FDD's die at the same time. i wonder if your batch of disks have suffered somehow. Have you tried brand new disks from a shop?

Need Power Chord/Adapter for my Technics sx pr 270 digital piano.

I have a Technics sx pr 270 m digital piano and have misplaced the power cord. What make of the power chord/adaptar should I buy for this piano?

Just realized that I do not have a copy of the user manual as well. Can somebody please help me on these for my Technics sx pr-270?

Any help would be really appreciated.
