The Technics SX-P50 has a great piano sound!
Though this brand is out of business, if you're looking for a used one, this can definitely serve the purpose, if you get it at a good price.
I'd the opportunity to try this piano and I think it was better than some of Yamaha's earlier P series pianos, such as the p60 and p90.
So keep your eyes open, in case you're looking for a practice piano.
Here's a video showing a Technics P50, which is connected to a Roland KC-150 amp, sounds good.
