Technics KN7000 Piano Keyboard – Where can I find one on Sale?

I own a Technics KN7000 and have been using it for a few years now.

I am quite happy with the KN7000 but it has been used a lot now. Some of the buttons have worn out, and I want to sell it off before it gives me any major problem.

I am looking for a replacement...but am searching for another Technics KN7000.

Any suggestions where can I find a decent KN7000 model at a good price?

Problems with Technic Piano and Keyboard

I have a Technic SX P30 digital piano and a keyboard KN7000. I love my instruments but Technic and Panasonic dont have too many parts available for these music instruments. Because the music instruments are older than 7 years, I need the AC/DC power adapter 110 volt to 10 volt 2 amp for the piano, I called Technic & Panasonic they say that part is obsolete, and don’t have idea where can get. I asked if they have part for Keyboard SX KN7000, said if it is older than 7 years then no parts. If you are a musician and this the instrument you use every night you are in problem like me.

EW Expansion Boards

Hi,

I have a Kn-7000 piano keyboard in absolutely mint condition with a nice gig bag. It has never been out of the house. I might be interested in parting with it.

I've had the Kn-3000, Kn-5000, and still have the KN-6000. I had intended to move up to the KN-7000, but never got around to taking all my sequences off the hard drive of the KN-6000 and I think I'll just stick with it as it works perfectly.

Kn7000 Piano Keyboard - Sell piano online

I sold my kn7000 recently online on ebay for £800. Less £40 commission!

It was purchased by a guy from Indonesia where there is apparently a great demand for this Instrument.

It was nine years old and had a few scratches. As i played professionally but otherwise
In perfect working order. It was the only keyboard that i ever owned.

Which never gave any trouble whatsoever.

Panasonic Technics KN7000 Software and Hardware

Apparently you can buy "Upgrade" software (Expansion Boards and SD cards)) for KN6000 and KN6500 which upgrades the instrument to the next model up.

As far as I am aware The KN5000, 6000 and 6500 come with 2 expansion slots. The KN7000 comes with a massive 4.

I guess the point I am making here is: Don't just buy a KN7000 for the sake of upgrading. An upgraded KN6500 would more than meet your needs.

The KN7000 was the last in the fabulous KN series and is still regarded by many as the "Flagship" of the fleet. However, because sales did not reach Technics' expectations (i.e. it was not vastly different from KN6500), Technics decided to withdraw from the market completely.

Technics fans and dealers were heartbroken and angry at the decision. But "business is business". I firmly believe that in time the KN7000 will become like those classic keyboard collectables (Hammond B3 and B4).

You must be very lucky if you have paid US$1000.00 for a Panasonic Technics KN-7000.

But in my Country Australia, a lot of buyers would be willing to pay more than AU$3000.00 to buy one, but can't because the KN-7000 is very rare.

Sometime back last year (mid 2009) I had seen a posting in Craigslist, asking for a price of around $1800 for a Technics KN 7000.

Since that was last year, may be the cost would be somewhat less now.

I had also read somewhere on the Internet that in the UK the Technics KN-7000 keyboard are going for around £700 at Whitley Bay Organs (that comes to around $1000)
