Technics Digital Piano - Keys Not Working

by Alex
(Cardiff, UK)

A couple of keys on my Technics digital piano have become dead.

Though the piano is about 8 years old (not very new), it is in very good condition.

It used to work perfectly fine till the last time I played it, but today all of a sudden I noticed that those two keys are not producing any sound.

Is it possible to fix just these two keys?

I hope the fix is doable and not very expensive.

Technics Digital Piano - Keys Not Working

You will need to find a piano tuner / repairer in your area. It is not the keys of your Technics digital piano that is the problem; it?s the contact with the membrane below that has been broken.

Usually, it is not very easy to fix just the affected keys...the entire membrane strip below the keys need to be replaced. Just talk to any piano repairer and take his views.

You can even write to Technics and see what they have to say. You can contact Technics support on: www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/PNAEndecaSearchCmd.
