Introducing the Roland Fantom G - The Most Powerful Workstation
from Roland

The Roland Fantom G is a workstation keyboard that is equally impressive on tour, or as part of your production studio.

The Fantom-G Series comes in a choice of three keyboards G-6, G-7 and G-8, the difference being the number of keys.

It is a complete portable studio and you will get all the power, features and performance control to give shape to your creative ideas.

The Roland Fantom G series keyboards come with outstanding sampling capability, uncompromised effects and you have for your use hundreds of world-class sounds and sequences to choose from. The Fantom G series has a powerful 128-voice polyphony and it comes with a color LCD screen.

The Fantom G is the most powerful workstation from Roland and competing against the best in this space!

Amazing and Expressive New Sounds
Almost all the models of Roland have their trademark high quality sound irrespective of the price of the keyboard.

Be it the cutting edge sounds or acoustic ones like the string section, drums, guitars or the piano, the samples that have been used are of top quality.

Roland Fantom G uses a new sound generation chip which is Roland's most powerful to date.

The polyphony of 128-voice also gives you a lot of freedom to create complex and dense musical sequences. Be it the cutting edge sounds or acoustic ones like the string section, drums, guitars or the piano, the samples that have been used are of top quality and will please even the most jaded players.

Sampler plus Digital Recorder
It is possible to record either short samples for playback on the keyboard, or long takes similar to a digital recorder. And as there is room for up to 544MB (Fantom G6/G7/G8) of sample RAM, you get plenty of recording time.

Users can load their samples in either .WAV or AIFF format and if needed back up data to convenient PC cards with up to 1GB capacity.

Skip Back Sampling
Roland's Skip Back Sampling is popular with musicians because you can instantly retrieve a performance and turn it into a sample.

With Skip Back Sampling, the sampler is constantly recording every note you play and so your ideas will never get lost.

A True Audio/MIDI Workstation
The Roland Fantom-G Series makes putting all your tracks together, be it audio or MIDI, a seamless process.

You can lay down a drum track using the internal drum sounds, record some keyboard parts as MIDI and then add audio tracks like the guitar or vocals.

The sequencer also supports the import and export of Standard MIDI File (SMF), making it one of the best workstations in the market.

Colour LCD Screen
Navigating the Roland Fantom G workstation is a pleasure using the colour LCD screen. It will be difficult to work on any other normal LCD display after you've seen this display's smart, colour-coded screens.

Studio Effects and Mastering Tools
Roland Fantom G provides you all the effects and mastering tools to create the perfect mix.

Some of the effects include separate reverb and chorus processors, plus three multi-effects processors.

Once you are ready to mix down, you just have to switch on the dedicated Mastering processor with multi-band compression for tight, punchy mixes.

Get Connected with USB
You use the USB port for two things: First, use it as a USB-MIDI interface, eliminating the need for an external MIDI interface. Second, you can use it to import and export audio in .WAV/AIFF format.

This way you can bring in samples from your computer and use them in a sequence. Likewise, you can also mix down your song to a stereo file, and then transfer the file to a computer for CD-burning.

V-LINK: For the Ultimate Performer
This will surely excite the professional performers. Just imagine being able to instantly trigger video clips using your pads, or create video transitions and effects using your keyboards controllers like the pitch bender and other knobs.

It's a live performer's dream!

Using the V-LINK technology, you can trigger and manipulate video clips but you will need a video editor like the Edirol DV-7PR.

Additional Features
• 128-voice polyphony
• Wave ROM includes quality sounds
