PSR 3000 and Tyros2

by Jimmy
(Sibiu Romania)

Tyros2 and PSR 3000

Tyros2 and PSR 3000

Both, the Tyros2 and PSR 3000 models have a very good palette of sounds and styles - still, after I got the Tyros 2 I've experienced a decrease of quality on the Grand Piano especially on the last two octaves.

The last two G on the right sound quite poor even compared with the PSR 3000 grand piano. In the rest I'm quite pleased with the real time facilities, the way I can access almost any function during the live performing.

One other thing I hate on Tyros 2 is the way I have to store on HD the eventual new sounds I get and the same with the styles. According to my opinion a bit complicated. And after you load your playbacks, sounds, styles in the HD, for each start of the keyboard I need more then 5- 10 minutes to have them loaded.

Interesting isn't it?

So I chose to use my USB memory stick or just the capacity of the Style user which makes me think the PSR 3000 was much more convenient.

Thanks for reading this and much success with your keyboard.
