Problem with Keys on my Casio CTK-601 Music Keyboard

I have a problem with the sound (or no sound) from some of the keys on a Casio CTK-601 music keyboard.

When you turn it on eight keys to the right of center won't make any sound and the last 13 keys on the right end won't make any sound.

I have read the manual for solutions. I tried turning power off and resetting to default, by holding down power switch for approximately 20 seconds. Then plug power back on.

When I do that the eight keys make a very low sound one time when each key is pressed and sometimes one black key will hang up and keep sounding until you turn power off and back on. After resetting is done the 13 keys on the right end that would not play, will play one time when each key is pressed, but louder than all the other keys and one black key will sometimes hang up and keep sounding until you turn power off and back on.

The keyboard uses a 9 volt AD-5 adaptor and someone accidently left it plugged in for several hours with the wrong adaptor, which was a 12 volt adaptor.

Does anyone know how or if this problem can be fixed on my Casio CTK-601 Music Keyboard? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
