My Midi is acting weird on Casio AP-38 Celviano Digital Piano

by Antoni
(Sheffielld)

Hi,

I have a Casio AP-38 Celviano Digital Piano and also a macbook pro, I have been trying to connect them up via midi to usb and it works on the best part but I can not seem to get it working properly.

For example, when I push down a key it often recognizes that i have actually played it twice, if I hold down the sustain pedal it often plays a random note that I had played earlier, and sometimes just decides to stick random notes from all up and down the keyboard, into the software I use.

I would really appreciate help for my Casio AP-38 Celviano Digital Piano midi problem as I have tried it on Garageband, Adobe sound booth and many others resulting in the same problem

Thanks
