Looking for a good Digital piano keyboard, want to become a church pianist

by Richard
(US)

Looking for a good Digital piano keyboard; want to become a good church pianist.

I am a self taught pianist, learning on my own for the last 3 years and own a 76 key Casio wk keyboard. I have been quite happy playing it, but recently I have started playing in the church and I feel that I need to may beyond the Casio keyboard.

I know that with time and more practice, I am going to become better and I will also regularly play at the church. So maybe it is time to look around for a good digital piano.

Budget is a constraint, as usual, around 500 to 600 dollars. But ideally I would like to own a digital piano with fully weighted keys and all the accessories like pedals, bench and if possible the wooden stand as well.

Any suggestions on what brand and make of digital piano should I consider?

Looking for a good Digital Piano
by: Suresh

The Yamaha P95 is cheaper compared to its real digital pianos like the Clavinova or the YDP series pianos.

The keyboard feel / action is still not great but IMHO I think it is still better than what some of its counterparts produce (Roland, Kurzweil, Kawai, Casio, etc.).

If you can stretch your budget a bit, you can even checkout the Yamaha p95 digital piano.

Very good key action and very good piano samples.

I think one of the best portable digital piano for under a grand.

I know I am a bight constraint on budget.

In fact, I had found a used Roland F90 digital piano for around 650 dollars, but then I thought it was too much for a used one.

If possible, I want one that comes with a wooden stands as well.

Good Digital piano keyboard for 500 to 600 Dollars
by: Stiller

500 to 600 dollars and you want almost everything...lol

You should get a portable 88 key digital piano in that price range from Casio privia series, Korg SP series, or the M-Audio stage pianos
