Some of the new features of the K2661 kurzweil keyboard include ADAT optical output for 8 channels of 24-bit digital output, which a lot of K2600 players around the world have been asking for.One more feature is the introduction of SmartMedia slot for convenient storage and upgrades. In addition to the standard ROM sounds from the K2600, the K2661 contains additional sounds covering orchestral as well as contemporary sounds. A General MIDI 1 sound set is also provided for easy authoring of MIDI files.
