How to convert midi into files that will be read as lessons on my Yamaha psr-E423 61 key keyboard?

Yamaha psr e423 61 key keyboard

Yamaha psr e423 61 key keyboard

I have a Yamaha psr-E423 61 key keyboard.

I managed to put some of my own MIDI files on it and make the instrument play them. But I can't make the psr-E423 instrument make lessons of them. The manual says that if you want to make lessons of your own selected files (others than the ones they gave you) they're supposed to be in smf format.

But it seems no music is to be found in files like that. So I wonder, is there any way, I could find files like that or even better somehow convert midi into files that the Yamaha psr-E423 keyboard will be able to read as lessons?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Tade Ando

Hi,

If you want to start your midis in the lessons mode you have to convert the midi to 0.
