Casio WK-3500 Keyboard – User Guide is Not Easy to Follow

by Michael
(Sarasota, Florida)

I have owned a Casio WK-3500 keyboard for about five years now. It has great features and great sounds. Having said that, I use it very rarely at home because there features I want to use, but don't know how to use them.

The user guide was written in a confusing style. I tried a few times to email Casio with a question, but the message does not go through. Looks like they don't want to be bothered.

Specifically, their explanation for using external storage is really baffling. I have asked other users and they have the same experience.

If I ever buy another keyboard, I'll check out the user guide first. Believe me, it's something you have to live with for a long time.

Casio WK-3500 Music Keyboard

Michael,

I can understand your concern. It can be a bit difficult especially for first timers. And contacting Casio (or for that matter even Yamaha) especially if you have a beginner to intermediate level keyboard may not get you any response.

In general, I have observed that Casio tries to provide you many features in beginner keyboards, and the only way to access them is through a series of steps, which baffles most first timers

I think you should be more patient and read it multiple times. You should get it.

Or you could post here what's confusing you, somebody should be able to help you.
