Casio WK 3200 76-Key Music Keyboard - Satisfied with my Purchase

by JK
(US)

I have been using the Casio WK 3200 76-Key music keyboard for almost a month now.

At first I was hesitant about this purchase. It was almost a debate for me to buy a Yamaha PSR series keyboard, but everything I saw on the display were Casio piano Keyboards.

A Yamaha PSR 61 keyboards is more expensive than a Casio wk keyboard consisting of 76 keys.
I just gave it a try. I have been using Yamaha PSR keyboards in gigs but when I tried Casio wk 3200 it seems to exceed it.

If you choose the right model for your choice, you won't regret of getting one for yourself. I am happy with my Casio wk 3200 76-Key music keyboard and willing to explore the other features it can offer me.

Weak Playback
by: AskHawkins

When using the sustain pedal it goes in and out. The pedal is brand new. And when playing back tracks, they can sound choppy and weak. The Yamaha DGX-230 didn't give me this problem. The sounds on the Casio sound really good as I havn't used a Casio in over 25 years. So I was impressed at their progress. But they still have work to do with their FX processors.

The wk series keyboards, especially this one, is good for playing church and gospel music because of their great organ sounds. I have been playing my wk-3200 at the church for the last one year almost and am quite happy with it.

At home, I use it as a midi controller keyboard and try my hands creating different kinds of music using for garage band.

I think the Casio wk-3200 is just fantastic. You can simulate a Leslie speaker (heavy vibrato effect in the beginning) by using the modulation button in the organ mode. Just luv it...

I have been trying to find a drawbar setting that sounds as close to a Hammond B3 sound but not fully convinced. I think I may have to save some money and get the Hammond XK-1.

The wk-3200 has some nice piano and orchestra sounds. It even comes with Hammond organ sounds. It?s a good attempt by Casio.
