Casio CTK 800 Music Keyboard

Hi,

I am looking for help on Casio CTK-800 Keyboard.

Your site came up in a Google search, and I was wondering if you knew how to reset the Casio CTK-800 to factory settings.

My Casio CTK 800 Keyboard is acting really strange.

Any suggestions?
Keith

Casio CTK 800 Keyboard - Reset Factory Settings
by: Hammery

You will have to check what functions you have. Usually you go to "Init Sys" or "Initialize Sys" and select the options to reset.

Alternately, turn ON the keyboard power while holding down the ENTER button, and select YES to initialize the keyboard.

This will reset all the keyboard settings to what they were when you purchased it and will clear all data from memory.

I bought this keyboard and I am quite happy with it. I basically play the guitar and wanted a keyboard with nice sounds. The Casio ctk-800 fits the bill quite well, though you may need to refer to the user manual for things like how to use the sequencer.

Even I used to think it was discontinued now but I think I saw it on Amazon sometime back. But Casio has also launched a couple of newer keyboards now, which seem to be quite good. You may want to check out the prices and the features of the newer ones with the ctk800. If the new models are better, you should go with it. But if you are getting a good deal for a used ctk-800 then you should just pick it up. The ctk800 is also a great keyboard.

Casio CTK 800 Music Keyboard - In Production?
by: Arpegg

Is the Casio CTK 800 keyboard is still under production or has it been discontinued and replaced with newer models? How's is it as a keyboard. If I were to get a used one should I consider it?
I like to compose my own beats and do a bit of songwriting as well. So basically looking for a keyboard with nice sets of voices and rhythms. A friend of mine used to own this.

Just did a translation to English and it turned out something like this:

Casio CTK 800 keyboard is behaving abnormally and has few blocked keys which produces some combinations of sounds.

Few things that you could do is:

Check if some dirt or anything else is entangled beneath the keys. If you have the skills, you may remove the keys and check it.

Last resort is to contact the Casio support in your area.

You may want to read more here: http://www.know-your-keyboard-piano.com/digital-piano-repair.html for your Casio CTK 800 Keyboard.
