CTK series - Casio's Standard Keyboards

CTK series - This series has been Casio's most popular series for quite some time. They offer enough features to the beginner to keep his/her creative juices satisfied for a long time. Besides, they are very aggressive on their prices making them very tempting for the first time buyer.

Keeping pace with Yamaha's PSR series
Casio has also been introducing a lot of models in the CTK series with advanced features to keep pace with Yamaha's PSR series. The advanced models like the CTK-900 now offer on board sequencer, mixer, MIDI, PC connectivity etc. The sound source has also been modified to give that extra punch to its sound.

Ease of use
One of the many reasons for the CTK series to be popular is its ease of use. The layout of the keyboard including all the knobs, buttons and sliders makes it easy to use and the "LCD screen display" shows all the selected features in a simplified manner.

More features
For a long time, The CTK series has been offering a lot of features at an affordable price. For instance, the Full fingered mode can be found in one of the CTK models for a cheaper price. If you would be playing more of piano pieces, then you would need to go in for a keyboard which has Full fingered mode.

You can keep your CTK keyboards updated with the latest and funkiest rhythms, tones, digital effects, wave files, midi files and song registrations by downloading them from the Internet.

Casio has created a site called music.casio.com where you can find softwares which will let you download all the music related stuff on your PC, from where you can load them onto your keyboard. With this feature, you can let your imagination run wild and do all sorts of creative things with your keyboard.
